I started this blog is a social experiment in contagious stimulation, and a sharing of comms tools that I have found useful in the hope that you might, and of course my own opinions….
In September last year I’d come back to work after early motherhood and had just started redesigning my life. I’ve decided I want a better, more fulfilling, interesting life. I started this blog to engage with like minded people when I knew I had less time to do so.
I met a whole host of people very quickly and then the conversation moved to twitter, effectively making the reason I created this redundant. Which is why you will see so few early posts.
The work I now do has changed, I’m now proud and delighted to hold the post of Head of Public Participation for the UK Government, helping the civil service engage with the public online in effective, multi-way collaborations to make better public services, although everything you see on this blog of course is my own opinion and completed outside of work.
I am falling across a whole heap of useful tools and good comms practice that I am now burning to share. together with some really enteresting entreprenuers and how they are using big brand leverage to create social innovation, so you’ll see a lot more from me. Not all of the work that I do is public facing, squirrelling behind the scenes to help departments engage, so you’ll only see the tools I use or the public announcements here.
Here we go….
